Review on Graphic Pencil Premium Overlaminate Generation by Carrie Spencer

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Looks good but doesn't improve grip.

I bought two of these, one for my 1st gen and one for my 2nd gen. Here are the ratings for each: Both First, these are primarily vinyl stickers. which I didn't expect at all. However, it really is a decent quality. In general, they look good, but I removed them from the second generation almost immediately. Installation of the first generation It was very easy. I placed the vinyl sticker sticky side up on the table and carefully lined up the pencil and then just turned it towards me, pressing my fingers on both sides of the pencil and pushing evenly so it rolled at the same speed. The tip was a bit more complex, I didn't quite get it right in the end, but good enough for a pencil I only use a few times a day. I didn't install the cap cap as I use an accessory that completely covers the cap. End result of the 1st generation Adds zero grip what I was looking for. But I'll leave it for now because it looks nice. 2nd generation installation The installation went exactly like any tape installation, although I have to admit that I'm a little more skilled with it than most. . No bubbles, no sharp edges, but the flat part made alignment very difficult. The end result of the 2nd generation also adds zero grip, which again was exactly what I needed. Visually, the end result was decent. The barrel was smooth with no blisters or warping, but I did notice a seam where the two sides met and the crease at the rounded end was subtle. I don't have a hair dryer (and it was weird seeing the website instructions I suggested) so maybe a little extra heat would help smooth things out, I don't know.
