Review on AEM 218222DC High-Performance Intake System for Dodge 1500 5.7L HEMI by Josh Chenier

I drive a 2012 Ram 1500 4x which averages around 16-16.5mpg and now averages 18mpg. So this thing will pay off over time, so I can't complain in that department. The assembly was relatively easy, but you have to use some force to mount the heat shield. And if you're the type that wants a little more boom when you hit the gas, you'll be pleased to know that this air intake delivers that nice sound. I also noticed a slight increase in horsepower, but nothing that would make you do wheels in your driveway. All in all it was a good buy.
