Review on πŸ”¨ SEO-Optimized: Estwing Sure Strike Blacksmith's Hammer by Tutcht Cobb

Revainrating 3 out of 5

I would prefer the American Eastwing.

I was looking for a cross forged hammer that was heavier than the 2lb Estwing hammer I was using so I ordered these 64 ounce unit sold here. Received this item and found it was made in Taiwan which was disappointing as all other Estwing hammers I own are made in the USA. This hammer works great and is well balanced. The face is softer than the all-metal Estwing cross hammer I have, and the fiberglass handle doesn't seem to dampen vibration any better or worse than the all-metal Estwing hammer. If I had to do it all over again I would just go for the heaviest cross hit grip Estwing offers. Over time, a full metal hammer will last longer in my application and I prefer to buy Made in USA whenever I have the opportunity.

Pros
  • FORGED STEEL HEAD - Maximum strength and durability for a lifetime of hard work
Cons
  • I don't remember
