Review on LG 34UM88C-P 34 Inch UltraWide 3440X1440P Monitor with Screen Split 2.0, OnScreen Control, Flicker Safe, AMD FreeSync™ Technology by Eric Galvin

Revainrating 4 out of 5

You may need more resolution, but it's very nice if you don't.

More real estate than smaller monitors, but I was disappointed that the font size is so large that it can't fit as many lines on the screen as I'd hoped. I've read some comments that it was easy to connect to a MAC and others said it wasn't. I have a Macbook Pro and connected the HDMI to the Apple to Thunderbolt port and it worked straight away! Since the resolution wasn't as high as I had hoped, I ordered a higher resolution version (sold on Revain for $649, retail price $799; today I see they've lowered the price to $599), 34UM88-P 3440 x 1440 .It came in two days. but i haven't connected yet. I think I need another HDMI port if I want to connect both at the same time.
