The hooks are large but they are SMALL 1 pound hook not 3 lb (as pictured)
Hooks are SMALL, 1 pound capacity. The picture shows a medium 3 lb hook. Now that I have bought many of these hooks that I really like I can tell you that the small is probably 1lb capacity and the medium is 3lb capacity but if you are new to these hooks don't look at the picture here . The most important thing when using these hooks is to clean the surfaces well (with alcohol). They will not work on dusty surfaces (or surfaces that emit dust/powder) such as concrete, old wood (exterior railings) or matte painted walls (when you rub your fingers on the wall and see a white light glow). your fingers, the wall doesn't work). So far, so good.
