I bought these brushes to clean the surface of an aluminum ATV engine. You've done your job, but you know the brushes aren't going to fly apart just yet. You have to be careful that you wear safety goggles and possibly an apron, otherwise you will pull small wires out of your clothing for a long time. A couple of brushes were missing some wires right out of the box. Some only lasted a few seconds before the wires found a new home in my cotton clothing. Others lasted a little longer. However, keep in mind that these are consumables and you get a lot of brushes for the money. Did the job for a reasonable price.
