The brushes work but quickly lose wires long before they actually wear out with use. Be sure to wear safety goggles and long sleeves when using.

Compared to a Dremel, the wire cups stick out almost a half inch or so. So if you want to hit a wide area, it might still be too big. Otherwise the other bits look fine.

Running them at a max speed of 30,000rpm is probably not a good idea but at lower speeds they work Well. 5k or so. Wear goggles in case the grenade explodes at high speed.

I was using one of the brushes when I felt a slight tingling sensation on my face. It was the wire that broke and flew away and hit me. Luckily I wore glasses. There were small pieces of wire at the workplace. VERY DANGEROUS

They work well for about 30 seconds and then fall apart. Everything starts on one side and works in circles so it throws the balance and ruins your bearings in your tool and now my new tool is junk with bearings floating in it. I use five of these to clean a head gasket, which isn't very nice because now I have to buy new brushes and a new tool.

With many reviews saying the bristles fall out on first use I figured the whole box would only last a few jobs but I was pleasantly surprised at how well they held up. With just a wire brush I was able to clean 3 railroad ties and polish a few other badly rusted studs. I don't know if I just got a good batch or what other people are doing, but these rotating brushes were definitely a good buy.

I don't use them for high speed rotary tools. Wire brushes over 10,000 rpm are never a good idea unless they are designed for it. The average grinder spins at 3600 rpm. And brush wheels designed for that use spit wires at you. Even a "famous brand" will fall apart at higher speeds.
