Review on 📏 Accuscribe FastCap Scribing Tool by Deshaun Fisher

Feels like cheap, brittle ABS plastic. The pen holder is very tight and difficult to adjust. Although I like the concept. Allows you to flatten it out to get into tighter spaces and open it up to wrap scribes. I'm sure they built it to be able to get it for less than $20, but maybe a more expensive Pro version made from fiber-reinforced nylon would also be more durable in the toolbelt and might also make it a little less cumbersome. Only other complaints, I like the retractable point but there's no support for it so I can see it getting lost. Also, the plastic ruined my wall, I had to put masking tape on it, but I think that could be solved in an updated model with anti-scratch nylon. And it's pretty bulky. In part it depends on the intended use, but the tip is quite chunky, making marking less than 1/4 inch impossible. All in all a good product, definitely an upgrade from old styles but be careful with that.
