Radar detector cannot be held horizontally
Good suction, but the way the radar mount attaches to the suction cup causes the radar detector to tilt up and point at the sky while driving. not to mention when you hit a bump or rough road conditions. The original mount seems to have teeth that snap when tightened, this mount seems to be held in place by friction only, resulting in movement no matter how hard you tighten it. Count on constantly adjusting the horizontal angle of the radar and I can only imagine it loosening up even more over time.
