I had a photo taken with a 35mm film camera about 25 years ago. The resulting photo will have an aspect ratio suitable for 4x6 printing. However, I wanted to print it out at 5 x 7 so it would be larger. Unfortunately, when you make a 5x7 print from a photo taken with a 35mm camera, you lose some of the long dimension - top or bottom, or a bit of both. So I wanted a thin bezel so the bezel wouldn't compound losses in the long dimension. This frame has thin edges and minimizes these losses. It's a black metal that looks good in this photo. However, the rear end slides up the back of the frame. It's not held in place by little "flippers" in the frame that hold it in place. So you need to select the frame with the part that will be used for the desktop display. As long as you remember it, you're fine.
