Review on 💻 NETGEAR CM500 Cable Modem: High-Speed and Reliable Internet Connectivity by Brett Blazis

My friend and I bought this in combination with a 'Netgear (R7000-100PAS) Nighthawk AC1900 Dual Band WiFi Router'. We've been using it for a few weeks now and I have to say we're BOTH happy holidaymakers! My boyfriend and I are both video gamers, not much of it, but enough when we play for a few hours at night on our computers or on our separate X-Boxes. We had a modem provided to us by our ISP (Timewarner/Spectrum) which we have been using for at least two years but have had problems with the slow internet even after repeated calls to Spectrum. We finally screwed it up, we went to Walmart and bought an Arris surfboard and if anything it made the problem worse, to the point I couldn't even watch Facebook videos on my phone while my friend was playing on his computer. My phone kept throwing me off the internet and when I tried the Xbox while he was at the computer it threw BOTH of us multiple times. Again endless calls to our internet provider, tried to switch modems, nothing worked. Finally, as a last resort, we decided to go big or go home and bought this and a "Netgear (R7000-100PAS) Nighthawk AC1900 Dual Band WiFi Router," as I mentioned. We won't get kicked anymore! In fact, it improved our internet speed! I'm not a techie, don't know much about modems, routers and such, so maybe we really didn't have to buy this, but I can tell you I'm glad we did. Would I recommend it to everyone? I bet I would! I would like to give more than five stars. My boyfriend and I are very happy with this purchase!
