Make sure the transmitter float has a stopper to prevent the pins from coming loose from the board.

I replaced the working pump and it worked until I filled the tank and the sensor lost connection as the part was purchased at a discount due to damage to the box. It's just a little crazy to waste an entire hour losing some gas for change. Now I have to redo everything and guess why I'm sending an intentionally defective part. I had to learn from my own bitter experience.
