For such a price, and I bought it for 9200 - the best option. High write speed, good capacity (470GB available), and durability. It makes no sense to overpay for the PRO version (which starts from 13k) - there is no point, unless of course you take a disk for home use. The difference between EVO and PRO is that - 300TB and 600TB, the speed of PRO is higher and MLC, which is considered the best option for the home. BUT, if you don't need super-speeds to the disc in the tail and in the mane - take the EVO. 5 year warranty or 300TB of data. I put in a laptop hp pavilion cc509ur.
