Pattern scares my bird

I wanted my bird to love this tent. Many years ago he had one of those furry cottages. I couldn't dissuade him. But they wouldn't wash, and I heard horrible stories about birds choking on loose threads. I think my green jawed kennel would love to have a solid brown coat wrapped around it. His tent has been hanging with me for weeks and he's still running away. The picture scares him. I'm still trying to bribe him, but he's not involved.
