This is a great product BUT you start peeling the backing off at the corner indicated and make sure a little catches to start separating the next piece. It is almost impossible to separate the substrate. I cut off a small piece thinking of exposing some of the backing and couldn't separate it. Made me order another small piece. but that's my problem. Otherwise it was easy to bear. I didn't have any tools in my bag, but I did have a utility knife and used a rubber spatula to remove bubbles. There were no problems. One person said it comes off the sides and corners. I think they didn't remove the backing because otherwise it wouldn't detach from the window. Good product highly recommended.
