Review on Samsung BD F5700 Wi Fi Blu Ray Player by Jeff Jones

I feel I should have looked into this product more closely, but (in my defence) Samsung is very reluctant to state which apps are supported by which devices. So, for the record, THIS PRODUCT, unlike (I think) every other Blu-ray player they sell, DOES NOT have the option to download additional apps from their App Store (http://www.samsung.com/us /appstore /browse). It ONLY offers the following 13 apps: Netflix, YouTube, Hulu Plus, Pandora, Vudu, Rhapsody, Hot List, Flickr, Cinema Now, Facebook, Twitter, Accuweather and Opera TV. No Revain Instant Video, MLB.TV, Spotify, Plex, or any of the 1200 other streaming services, games, etc they offer for FREE on other devices. You can spend another $11 and get the BD-F5900, which appears to work with at least 399 apps available on their store (notably HBO Go is NOT included. It's currently only available on Samsung TVs).
