Review on Technica Brand Fuser Kit LY6753001 by Chris Reeves

These replacement fuser rollers did not work in my Brother MFC9340. After spending 4 hours disassembling and reassembling dozens of small parts and screws and updating the firmware, the printer kept telling me that it was overheating. It only printed one page before overheating and smelling awful. After researching this on the internet, I found that overheating was a common problem with fakes. I replaced it with an original Brother mounting kit. The Brother kit comes with almost everything assembled (including the heat lamp). In less than 15 minutes (using only 5 screws and 3 parts instead of 20+ different parts) the problem was solved and everything worked perfectly. Resist the temptation to save money on these fuser rollers; Head straight to the Brother brand fusing kit for around $150.
