It's a 1/4 " plasma cutter, period.

This is a decent little cutter, but my experience has been exactly the same as a few others: It cuts 3/8" into the wall. It cuts not 1/2 inch as listed so I'm returning it. A friend told me I was crazy for thinking a $199 machine could cut 1/2"; looks like he's right. If I only needed it for 1/4" I would to let. Anything over 1/4" gets boring. I don't make it boring. Going back for the 50A/240V block.
