Review on Efficient Conversion Solution: DEWALT DWV9140 2-1/4-Inch OD Adapter by Jonathan Self

I have a DW745 portable table saw and an old 6 gallon shop vac that I wanted to use to collect dust while working with the TS Bought one of those "stepped" adapters in HD that fit hose diameters from 1 1/4" to 1 7/8" to 2 1/2"; However, the outside diameter of the adapter was the same as the outside diameter of the dust collector on the saw. I ended up using gorilla tape to connect them. Then every time I wanted to use the Shop-Vac somewhere else I had to remove the tape, which aged quickly. Also, the adapter protruded over 6 inches from the back of the TS I have on the cart. This adapter clung to everything because it still stuck out. So I finally came to Revain and did a quick search and found this adapter. It was just what I needed to connect the TS' dust bag to my Shop-Vac's 1 1/4" hose! I find this is exactly what I need. I spent about $10 on this one I was given the useless adapter by HD I should also add that a few weeks later I bought a 2 1/2 shop vac hose for my vacuum cleaner and the end of the hose fits the dust collector snugly and snugly without an adapter.
