Review on CollarDirect Cat Collar Breakaway Set: Tribal Pattern Aztec Design, 2 PCS, Adjustable Pet Safety Kitten Collar with Bell by Denise Aramori

I bought four of these in different colors and designs to replace my cats collars that are worn out. They are beautiful, well made and have a strong tear-off clip. I've found many tear-off collar designs come off MUCH easily, and I've found them strewn around the house while coming off during noisy gaming sessions. In addition, cats will figure out how to hook a front or hind leg under themselves and push out. These collars won't do that. They will come off in an emergency (e.g. if you have a cat that went outside and hung itself on a fence), but they won't come off during normal activity or play. Since there is confusion when reading reviews as to whether these are actually breakaway collars, I have included a picture showing the difference between the clamp and spring flanges on a cat collar (above) and a dog collar (below). You can clearly see the difference in design. You cannot remove the clip on a dog collar. I love these new collars and they look really good on my cats. Also, I have the assurance that if one of them accidentally goes outside (these are purely indoor cats) their ID and rabies tag will be more likely to remain on them for reunion purposes. .
