Review on Edifier USA Spinnaker Media Speaker System (Black): Superior Sound Quality and Sleek Design by Nate Nelson

The speakers themselves are excellent, the sound is rich and deep. But I have a problem with the reliability of the speakers. Now I have two pairs of these speakers. The first pair showed problems a few months after use. The left speaker became very muffled and sounded like the speaker had died. I contacted Edifier support and they sent me a new pair of speakers and explained that there was an issue with an earlier version that could be causing the speakers to burn out. My second pair of speakers worked great, as did the first pair. But here, too, the left speaker died again after a few months, like the first pair. It has now been over a year since I bought it and my warranty has expired so I cannot make a warranty claim. These speakers cost too much to have such poor reliability
