I NEVER write reviews but I had to. I wasn't sure as other reviews talked about the smell but I didn't smell it at all. For the rest. At first I had very cracked heels that actually bled. Rough! I was desperate. I apply them while I sleep with my regular lotion and BAM! I could already tell a big difference. After 1 week you would not have guessed that my legs were so bad, they are almost completely smooth. I would like before and after photos! Even if they don't last long, I swear it's worth it. I gave 4 stars for the comfort because despite the grip on the bottom your feet slide on the gel (especially after washing) and you can break your shit like you almost did. Definitely wear it if you know you won't be walking for a while. I wear them in the evenings all week and on the weekends I hand wash and hang dry. You will still get some fluff, but it will be clean. Overall I give 5 stars because nothing has worked so far.
