Worst customer support imaginable

NeatCo has, perhaps on purpose, developed the most customer-unfriendly, onerous, and pointlessly lengthy technical support ever conceived. I think their tech support purposely hates hearing from their customers so they put together the following system. First, they cannot be reached by phone. You call their number and get a phone message (on a loop) repeatedly asking you to come back to their site for maintenance. You go to their website and MUST select a set of predefined items from their drop down list. If your problem doesn't fit, you're lost. You have to bring in something completely alien just for your request to go through. They will then email you an automated response asking you to click the URL to receive your troubleshooting request. Then and only then can you contact technical support. Only via the Internet; no personal contact. That's what NeatCo calls "customer support." I have to say that I got their Neat Receipts scanner working, but I had a little problem with the "Search" function. Getting a quick response from tech support should have been easy, but not with NeatCo. If you need help with their unit, don't even think about buying from them. Like I said, it's "the worst support ever made".
