I was disappointed when I received this item as the dimensions are totally wrong and it had a strong chemical smell. An ad showing a photo of a golden retriever and a second dog to reflect size is VERY misleading. You can't put two dogs in this cage. I have a growing puppy who is currently 40lbs and will quickly outgrow this cage as he is not as tall as expected. The door and latch mechanism is extremely cheap and flimsy, so if you have a violent pup this isn't the best option. Made of fragile material, the platform under the drawer shell has arrived in a curved and unusual shape; The litter box is actually the bottom of the cage, so get a bed for it to keep your pup comfortable. I bought this tray and it fits PERFECTLY. Billion Padded Orthopedic Dog Bed Foam Egg Crate with Washable Plush Pillowcase (41" x 27" x 4") Overall I will pass on this item for the price. I expected the product to be much better and the " "Large" box is larger based on the photos and stated measurements. We found the value for money to be disappointing but we have to put up with that for now.
