Review on KG-UV6D Wouxun Two Way Radio by Ananta Crowley

August 2012 - December 8th 2018 I have two of these. I switch back and forth when the battery is low. 6 years later The battery still lasts about 3 days between charges. My buttons are starting to wear a bit from rubbing against my coat, but they are still legible. The little rubber tip on one of my antennas came loose somewhere, but nothing serious. - A still perfectly working radio on my company's outdated analogue repeaters. - Programming is still quite easy with the free software KG-UV6 Commander. - The programming cable I got from the radio still works with Windows 10. - Keyboard programming is doable but time consuming and a bit "PITA". When I first bought this device, there were complaints that its flash memory had a fairly limited number of write cycles before you couldn't change its programming. I haven't encountered this problem yet.
