Pretty easy to install.

I replaced the standard whip/wire antenna on my Jeep Wrangler with this. AFAIK the reception is the same. I don't live in the country so there are many radio stations nearby that this antenna and my Jeep's radio will transmit and receive perfectly. However, it looks crisp and installation was easy enough. It comes with parts so that it can be installed universally depending on the size/size of antenna installed in your car. Therefore, pay attention to this when installing.
