This review is for 5htp 50mg. I was starting to get really frustrated and for the first month the pandemic broke out completely unmotivated and we were told to isolate. I've always been ambitious, optimistic, and ambitious, so lying in bed depressed was something new for me. I wanted so badly to get out of bed and do neglected chores and do some serious spring cleaning, but I had enough energy and motivation to just take care of my dogs. I went online to find something that might help and found out about 5HTP. I bought this product immediately. I bought this brand because it is a trusted quality brand and read good reviews of HTP consistency from long term users. After a day or two I felt a little better, I had more hope although I wasn't fully motivated. Then I learned that it's important to balance serotonin with dopamine, so I started taking 500mg of tyrosine. It was the missing combination. I jumped out of bed the first day of taking 5htp and tyrosine together. I've tackled a few daunting projects around the house and three months later I'm still going strong. 5htp also helped curb my appetite and stop emotional overeating. I only took 50mg. Although I'm curious to go to 100mg. Sometimes tyrosine can bother me a bit. When that happens I just take an extra 5hTP and that helps. I take both tablets in the morning. And sometimes I take an extra 5 liters in the afternoon when I've had a busy day or need to go shopping (to reduce shopping intensity with a mask). I highly recommend trying this combination. I would also advise anyone with mild depression or anxiety to get tested. Depression and anxiety can often be the result of vitamin deficiencies or hormonal imbalances (problems with the thyroid, adrenal glands, or low/high estrogen/testosterone levels). In any case, these two supplements help a lot. The 5htp tablet itself is very small and easy to swallow. The price may be a little lower. But you get what you paid for. I've been taking this consistently for 3 months and have noticed weight loss as well. I think with more consistent exercise I would see more significant results. I'm definitely eating less and eating a lot cleaner.
