I take care of the housework very seriously. I'm doing all this because I'm a cheap son of a bitch. I'm always looking for tools to make my life easier and improve my work, which led me to this tool. I've owned or used many spike finders in my time, but I have to say that the Franklin Sensors ProSensor M90 is by far the best. It glides easily over walls and sets and centers cleats with no problem. Franklin offered more advanced models, but this particular model was mid-range and cheap. It replaced my Zircon and Bosch I borrowed from a friend. Won with both hands. If you're looking to hang drywall, crowns, baseboards, paneling, etc. you can't go wrong buying one of this company's nail finders. By the way, it's made in the USA. I love American instruments and try to only buy them if the price is within my budget.
