When our Milwaukee Hydraulics jack finally broke after 30 years of use, we looked for replacements. nearly $1,000. We looked at the traditional Snap On and Hein Werner replacements and were dismayed to discover that they now cost $600 and are no longer made in the US but assembled in the US, which isn't the same. So since we don't use a jack every day, after spending $1,000 we voted no and then someone pointed us to the Arcan aluminum jack. It is made in Taiwan. But I wouldn't have guessed it if I hadn't been told. This is an amazing 3 ton jack for the money. It does what a jack is supposed to do, and does it well. This is not what you would expect from Chinese Jack. And it's not Chinese Jack. Taiwan is a completely different matter.
