I've spent a lot of time looking for the best Bluetooth adapter. I read too many reviews and finally decided this seems to be what I was looking for. I even spent more than I planned hoping it would perform better. It took me hours to figure out how to detect it from my computer and then get it working, but I finally got it. I've read in many reviews of similar products that this is an issue, so I wasn't surprised. Don't ask me exactly what I did, because I've tried so many ways to make it work that I've lost track. However, it finally happened. The most frustrating fact is that it doesn't even come close to the performance of a Class 1 key, which is what I REALLY wanted. I can barely reach 25 feet, which is less than what Class 2 says, and just walking through a wall cuts the signal completely. That's very disappointing. I work in the middle of my house which is 3/2 and I can't even get reception in my living room which is a little further down the hall. I would return this product but was afraid I would end up with the same or less performance and not quite sure what to order instead. I am not at all satisfied with this product and would not recommend it to anyone as the one advertised does not like it.
