Defective, not trustworthy in the long run.

Received part yesterday and installed today. First, I don't replace it with codes and I don't go into idle mode. My original responds a little sluggishly to the accelerator pedal. Before installing this new unit I checked the codes and all the monitors were completed. There were no codes, no pending codes, and all monitors went through. I installed a new block and cleared KAM, Keep Alive Memory, which clears all other codes as well. Started the engine and did a test drive. Throttle response was slightly better than my original. I was driving about a mile and a half from home on a country road, slowed down to allow the car to make a right turn, increased my speed, the wrench light came on and the engine idled. I had to go to the site and check the installed codes. I have P2104 - TAC Forced Idle System and P2112 - Throttle Actuator Control System stays closed. I cleared the codes and accelerated off the curb again, same thing happened. I stopped and cleared the codes again. I turned and went home. I was able to recreate the problem while sitting in the driveway. One thing I noticed was that the socket connector on the drive was misshaped and stuck. There may be a problem with the connection between the pins of the plug and the sockets in the plug. I reinstalled my original throttle body, cleared the codes and took it for a test ride. No problems or codes were installed. Back to Revan. I will go with OEM. You get what you pay for, right?
