This product was purchased as a flexible option for lighting our home during a power outage. The product is a great performer as it is lightweight, about the size of a standard medium base lightbulb, is self contained and has a remote control for easy on/off, timer and mode switching from anywhere in sight. The lamps worked as expected and I would recommend them for any camping, home or other close-up lighting. The only downside, if you can call it that, is that the bulbs only emit cool white light. So if you want to imitate the atmosphere of the usual warm glow of incandescent lamps, you have to be content with the effect of fluorescent lamps. We recommend buying at a good price.
