Very well designed and built. Good quality aluminum and hardware, easy to install and remove, not particularly heavy and very easy to store. You will need to remove carefully to remove not to pinch This telestep with two other brands (in store) that cost a little less and the telesteps turned out to be better designed and finished, they also weighed about 1-1.5lbs more but still in one acceptable range. A few online comparison reviews also showed that Telesteps are better made and flex less. Telesteps are a few bucks more expensive. I mainly use this for attic access and wasn't sure about the 10.5"Need but turned out great - no need to lengthen it crotch just what you need. This ladder has very little flex (I'm 170+) and has a max weight range of 250 pounds. I recommend this for stairs and also get a 10.5ft model even if you use it for 8 meter ceilings. If you have a 9-inch or 10-foot ceiling, I'd recommend a larger model, especially if you're using it outdoors.
