I use my share of these types of screws from various manufacturers and there are always bad reviews for falling out of someone's magnetic bit holder. They're colored in a way that works against you, but you need a bit holder with a magnet at the end, not the bottom at the base, to hold better. The head on them is typical of most screws, and making it "prouder" will make it stand out more on the finished project and not be a typical screw either. I used them to finish a metal panel and they fit me perfectly and the finished look was more than acceptable. I find tapping the starter with an awl works best because turning the screw in the drill when trying to penetrate metal often causes the screw to fall off no matter how good a magnet I use. I doubt I would pay for someone to repaint the screw head though, and recently printed my own truss head waffle heads (just stick them in a piece of cardboard at spray distance) which have a Phillips head and they work much better and have a larger contact area under the head. At about $5 per hundred I have no complaints other than the white is not pure white and it was a little different than what was on my trimming spool.
