I bought this for my little Vesta who loves to explore the world and wanted to give her more space to play around the house . I decided to set up "stations" so she could hang out while the rest of the family was outside without feeling left out. Although this pole doesn't look very strong or sturdy in the photo, I was pleased to find that it was virtually indestructible (at least for a 17 pound Vesti) when I received the stake. It was easy enough to install.
