If he's bored for 5 seconds

I have a Husky/Timberwolf mix that escaped and was found 22 miles from here in town. I caught him with my security cameras opening the gate latch, climbing the 6ft fence, etc. If he gets bored within 5 seconds, the Vulcan prison can't hold him. !

Anchor in Beach Sand

My 75 pound German Shepherd puppy couldn't keep up with this bet! He made a few attempts to struggle with the leash we had tied but quickly realized that catching up with the golden retrievers a mile from shore was not worth it. When he turned back to his family, we got some great shots of our dog and kids digging in the sand.

If you have a large/strong/active dog, look elsewhere.

My dog, a 75 pound Australian Cattle Dog, saw a bird, freaked out, pulled hard and bent the stake in one jerk. I live next to a busy road and needed something for those occasions when I wanted my dog to go outside between walks - this product does not inspire confidence. look elsewhere Edit/Update: I forgot to mention that this anchor was driven into hard clay soil, not just loose topsoil, and after flexing the main body of the anchor, the angle of thrust changed and it was pulled out in…

The one in good dirt/grass feels great

I bought two of these. One for each of my 70-80 pound dogs. Each is installed on either side of my front garage. One crammed into good dirt/grass feels great. The other one, driven into the dry mud, looks like it might eventually come loose, so I'll have to keep an eye on it. So they're only as good as the dirt they're thrown into. BTW, I used cloth over the spike when hitting with the hammer and there was still a blob of paint on top of the spike at the point of impact. So maybe find something

Powder coating chipped off at the top during installation.

I chose this stake because it looks well made. Overall happy with it but was disappointed that the powder coating chipped off during installation. I tried pounding it into the ground with a rubber mallet first and then switched to a soft-faced rubber mallet, which still didn't help, so I ended up using a 3 pound hand hammer drill with a rag over the stake and it has it. but the fur has chipped off, which is frustrating. While I assume Ohio's heavy clay mud is to blame, I can't leave 5 stars on…

Works perfectly! Best Among Dogs

We took this campground for our 50lb Belgian Malinois and it worked great! Make sure you secure it fully so the top of the dome is flush with the ground. My friend first left it about 4 inches off the ground while setting up the tents and the pole flexed when the dog ran hard. After beating it completely, even though our dog ran at full speed towards a flying bird, he didn't move for the whole 3 days. When we wanted to dig him out on the day of departure, it was not an easy task. That thing…

easy to install, can be flush with the ground, easy to use

I use two of these in my garden. If you don't want to worry about getting hit by a lawnmower, dig under the cup and hammer it flush so only the hinge and top are showing. Then attach the carabiner to the rope or line and it can be easily removed for mowing or to keep the line from digging in the snow. Then simply reattach when you are ready. Our mud contains clay, so once it's in, it won't go anywhere, no matter how strong the dog is. If your area is sandy or loamy, you may need a different…

Bombing - Get It!

Let's face it, even the best fence doesn't always keep a dog in the backyard. Dogs can climb through invisible fences, dig under wooden fences, and gnaw on plastic pet fences. Heck, if you have a Shiba like me, they can even climb fences! But sometimes a dog needs some time outdoors if you can't keep an eye on them all the time. When that time comes, the boss will have your back. This 21 inch stake sticks into the ground fairly easily. And let me tell you, once it's there, it's not going…

Looks sturdier than the picture

I bought this for my little Vesta who loves to explore the world and wanted to give her more space to play around the house . I decided to set up "stations" so she could hang out while the rest of the family was outside without feeling left out. Although this pole doesn't look very strong or sturdy in the photo, I was pleased to find that it was virtually indestructible (at least for a 17 pound Vesti) when I received the stake. It was easy enough to install. Waiting for a warmer winter day when
