As a beginner, I really like this machine. I was very disappointed at first, it worked sometimes but skipped stitches, didn't even pick up the first stitch or got stuck after a minute or two. I ended up breaking the needle and after changing the needle and rethreading the bobbin and trying a different thread nothing worked, it was still sticking or not picking up the first stitch which was very frustrating. I spent over an hour trying to figure out what could be wrong. I tried using a waterproof stabilizer sheet and it had no problem and now it works great! No skipped stitches, no creases and more! One thing I noticed is that when I use reverse it gets stuck in the presser foot so I only sew reverse manually so I can move slowly and don't break the needle.
