Doesn't work

Bought for my daughter. super excited! BUT the machine runs, we hear it when we step on the pedal, but the needle doesn't move. Troubleshooting everything we can think of to no avail. Will be returned if seller doesn't reply how to fix it.

Good car for beginners! Finally deserved!

As a beginner, I really like this machine. I was very disappointed at first, it worked sometimes but skipped stitches, didn't even pick up the first stitch or got stuck after a minute or two. I ended up breaking the needle and after changing the needle and rethreading the bobbin and trying a different thread nothing worked, it was still sticking or not picking up the first stitch which was very frustrating. I have been sewing for 65 years and wanted a basic sewing machine for my grandchildren. Ordered on Wednesday, the machine and project book PRONTO arrived the day after ordering when I didn't expect anything to arrive before the weekend. I was so surprised! Well done Revan! I was able to use it with my five year old granddaughter on a Friday. The machine initially sewed flawlessly on test patterns.
