I've had a 2016 Tacoma SR5 since the 3rd gen came out. After finally getting one of these KN cold air intakes, I was impressed. Acceleration is much smoother, MUCH smoother, I don't care what anyone says. It's not all in my head. If you really step on the gas, it takes off faster and you can hear the intake. I've been very happy with it so far, my only disappointment was that the KN inlet I bought was supposed to have a chrome tip filter which I was looking forward to but mine ended up black. I didn't have a 10mm bolt either, so I had to use one from the washer fluid housing.
