We have replaced our regular Berkey Black filters with these as we think the price is very low, worth a try. We lost because the Revain return time expired and we just ordered two new, original Berkey Black filters to replace them. They only look like original Berkey filters. This is the only similarity as far as we could tell. After about a month of use, the quality and taste of the water filtered through them is nowhere near that of a real Berkey filter. The first clue we got right after purchasing it was that the water seeped through them very quickly, not slowly like Berks. We kept hoping that somehow the situation would improve, but it didn't happen. We're very disappointed, but if the price sometimes seems too good to be true, that should be a warning. We spent money on them.
