Review on Enhance UTV Safety with Kolpin 98300 Rear/Side Mirror in Black by Andrew Gomez

Sorry no stars no option, zip ties were used

this is a lousy design and the clip doesn't work to hold the mirror to the roll cage as advertised. If you have one, use two zip ties to attach it to the roll cage if you buy them somewhere like Harbor Freight (I wouldn't even buy a tool from them, but for such things as zip ties, they will fit)) Zip ties are so cheap that the mirror can still be considered removable. Just keep a couple of nail clippers and half a dozen zip ties in your glove box. Wrap the cable ties around the clamp, one on each side of the Phillips head screw that will be used to tighten the clamp, and then tighten. and trim off the excess with nail scissors. Mine also came boltless in a closed clamshell. I see another person reported this as well. In their defense, Kolpin promptly sent the missing equipment. Kolpin is so much better at this, I have used other products they make and have never been more disgusted than when this useless thing came out. I knew without even trying it would just never work, but I installed it anyway and gave it a try. Less than five minutes later he fell to the ground.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • there are bugs
