Review on 🐠 AquaClear Fish Tank Filter: Enhance Your Aquarium Experience by Ashley Perez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The defective leaked 15 gallons of water onto my floor.

All aquarium enthusiasts were furious at how good the aquaclear cooktop filters were, so I decided to replace my Penn Plax cooktop with this one. I bought it on December 30th and installed it on January 1st, now on January 12th and I just got home from work all night on a 15 hour shift in the sons of a jet. I went to my 20 gallons and found that 75% of the water had drained all over my floor. I checked the tank, there are no leaks and then I checked the filter and indeed it was leaking right where the engine connects to the filter. It was tight, the seal didn't look damaged at all, so why would it leak!? I have a fully planted tank and most of my plants have wilted, I've lost a good chunk of fish, half my snails and apparently all my shrimp that I added yesterday. Cleaning was a bit ** Will get even less sleep before I have to go back to work, I haven't spent any more money on the tank and the filter I can't trust is less than two weeks old. Very frustrated and mad I ever decided to "upgrade" and trust this product. I definitely do not recommend it and if ever asked I will tell them my story. Don't buy this!
