Bought this meat thermometer on a lightning deal. Before it stopped working properly I would give it a 4/5. It's easy to use, reads temperatures quickly and accurately, and the bottle opener is a nice touch. My initial problem was the probe's lack of airtightness; it moves very freely and this can make it difficult to use accurately. But after about 9 months, the thermometer stopped working normally. It still opens and reads the temperature, but it keeps resetting and always resets to Celsius. It looks like a wiring and chassis issue as any slight movement will cause a reset. Also, the screen backlight stops working and pressing the backlight button resets the thermometer. I replaced the batteries and that didn't fix the problem. I would not recommend this meat thermometer.
