It works, but hardly worth the savings.
I bought this to connect my Red Weapon to the Move Pro monitor. When I connected the monitor to RED's a and b adapters and turned on the camera, the top of the screen looked like it had an image on it and the touch response was very sluggish. After a lot of trouble I was able to get it working by changing the screen refresh rate from 60 to 30. It doesn't look great and touch response can be slow, but it helped me take pictures. I'm considering other options and could just spend a lot of RED money if that means getting a cable that works the way it's supposed to.
