The mounts are strong and hold the light very well despite scratching my Maglite. I fixed this for future use by gluing the contact surfaces of the terminals with black extra strong electrical tape. Unfortunately, after purchasing these clips from Revain for $12.26, I found them online direct from Rugged Ridge for $9.99 with free shipping included.
