I purchased metal clips for the Rugged Ridge flashlight and the recommended 3-D Mag Light Element. I used 2 pre-drilled holes and had to drill 2 more. Easy installation in 15 minutes. Very strong clips.

These are real steel versions of this product, making them much more durable than some other ABS plastic brands. I look forward to seeing them hold up in extreme temperatures and heavy use in my SUV for years to come.

My herringbone mount is metal except for the flashlight holder. Plastic but when winter came the plastic fasteners broke, I ordered these things, may need to drill new holes but they fit perfectly, the holes are identical. Perfect fit for my 2017 Jeep Wrangler JK.

The mounts are strong and hold the light very well despite scratching my Maglite. I fixed this for future use by gluing the contact surfaces of the terminals with black extra strong electrical tape. Great clips to hold the flashlight in a bouncy jeep. I tried 2 nylon and both exploded on the track and my high power 3D flashlight exploded like a cannonball. The clips hold perfectly and are absolutely secure. They have many sources and should last forever. I wish they had a soft finish but other than that they are great!
