Will not thread into '74 Tilt 6 head. Starts but gets very tight after 1/4 turn; I won't turn it with a ratchet. That seems like a really bad idea. I checked that the connector holes are M14. I compared the pitch of the candles and this tool and they match perfectly. The plugs are .5415" and the tool is .5485". Seven thousand doesn't sound like much, but apparently it's enough to keep her from getting screwed. I tried pressing it against a wire wheel on a grinder that removed the zinc chromate but that didn't work. I'll have to try tracing the M14x1.25 die to see if I can remove material. But for now it's unusable.
