Very disappointed and they shine through

So it's the polar opposite of wrinkle resistance. I bought them to save time ironing cotton. Boy did I have a rude awakening because wrinkles are terrible and you can't smooth them out! I washed them and tried to dry them. I tried smoothing them out and ended up trying to smooth out some wrinkles. Super disappointed and they see through too.
