Its a simple, passive device, but this 6 way, bidirectional audio switcher is exactly what I needed. Since I like to switch between using a handful of different headphone amps on a regular basis, this audio switcher makes it easy to toggle between the four amps that I have on my desk at any given time.Being bidirectional, you can connect it so that it has one output, with 6 selectable inputs, or vice versa with 6 selectable outputs and a single input.There's no power supply since its a passive device, so it doesn't impart any effect on the sound you hear, or the quality.There's a volume knob on the device which isn't useful for me, but its nice to have. There's another knob next to it that serves as the selector switch.Small little black box but it makes life so much easier for me. Love it!
