I didn't know what to expect from a brushless drill. What I can say is that this thing is MUCH more powerful compared to my older Craftsman cordless brush vacuum. It almost slipped out of my hands while drilling into it with a hole saw and I grabbed it! This has never happened before with any brushless wireless device I've used. It's extremely powerful for its semi-compact size. The only downsides are that the clutch adjustment and clamp bits are a bit tight (maybe because it's new?) and you can't turn the light off (at least as far as I can tell). However, it turns off automatically after a few seconds of inactivity. All in all a great drill for the money.
